When thinking about my identity I went through the usual process of linking my name to my identity because I have such a strong surname which would be good if it weren't for the tricky 'challenge' restriction of keeping your identity a secret.
I suppose the good thing about this restriction is that you are forced to be a little more creative with your identity name.
I did still want my identity to reflect me in some way and so started thinking about where i'm from, my family, my interests and also key facts about me which only a handful of people know. One of which is that I was born in South America, Venezuala specifically, which led me to look at key landmarks, place names etc and the Orinoco river seemed like a cool name to use. The princess side of things basically comes from the fact that I am the least princess like girl; I don't wear make up, don't like shopping, not very demanding etc etc.
The image was illustrated by my boyfriend as I thought it would be a nice touch to include something which was individual and not found on the web - Princess Orinoco deserves nothing less!!
